What’s the most inspiring part of your job?

Getting to work with a passionate work family who make a difference with what they do.

In another life, I’m pretty sure I was a

pirate.

The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is

hire people who are better than you.

If I could invent a holiday, it would definitely involve

the beach and chocolate.

What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars?

Join us if you want to contribute to a work family who are passionate about what they do and embrace the work life balance.

My favourite word in the English language is

gush!

speed travel.

Catharine Parsons

Happiness Architect

What's the most inspiring part of your job?

Without a doubt, recognising and bringing happiness to people who go above and beyond their call of duty. What I do is meaningful and positive, and that brings value and joy to my life.

In another life, I'm pretty sure I was a

bear. Eating 40 kilos a day and then sleeping for 7 months sounds like something I might have done. And enjoyed.

The best piece of advice I've ever been given is

that a person’s character is more important than anything else they are.

If I could invent a holiday, it would definitely involve

snow.

What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars?

Have a willing spirit. Skills can be learned, but a good attitude is paramount.

My favourite word in the English language is

petrichor, it describes the beautiful, earthy smell after rain.

If I were a superhero, my superpower would be

LUCK.

Erna Swanepoel

Data Dynamo
(aka Data Analyst)

What's the most inspiring part of your job?

That after processing huge amounts of data, the magic happens, and a deserving person becomes a reward winner.

In another life, I'm pretty sure I was a

a Yorkshire Terrier.

The best piece of advice I've ever been given is

everyone’s journey is different.

If I could invent a holiday, it would definitely involve

philanthropy. I would invent Goodwill Day where everybody goes out in their community to help the needy.

What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars?

Don’t be afraid to ask for help and advice from the other team members, even if you have to ask more than once.

My favourite word in the English language is

love.

If I were a superhero, my superpower would be

time control.

Jeff Hudson

Happiness Architect
(aka Client Service)

What's the most inspiring part of your job?

Hearing how we can actually change someone’s life – like the lady who was able to get her first ever washing machine.

In another life, I'm pretty sure I was a

pilot.

The best piece of advice I've ever been given is

treat others in the way that you expect to be treated yourself.

If I could invent a holiday, it would definitely involve

time to really switch off.

What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars?

You’ve got to really care, want to take responsibility and not accept anything that doesn’t provide fabulous customer service delivery.

My favourite word in the English language is

marvellous.

If I were a superhero, my superpower would be

calm under pressure.

Kyle van Niekerk

Data Dynamo
(aka Data Analyst)

What's the most inspiring part of your job?

Knowing that people are being acknowledged and rewarded for their exceptional work effort, and that we make it worth their effort.

In another life, I'm pretty sure I was

some sort of Royalty, it may explain my expensive taste!

The best piece of advice I've ever been given is

if it was easy, everyone would do it.

If I could invent a holiday, it would definitely involve

a remote island in crystal blue waters, with an endless supply of treats and cocktails, and where you don’t gain weight eating all the treats!

What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars?

Be prepared to work exceptionally hard, laugh even harder and love being part of a team that cares!

My favourite word in the English language is

iridescent.

If I were a superhero, my superpower would be

invisibility.

Lindi Cronje

Finance Fundi
(aka Finance Lead)

What's the most inspiring part of your job?

That I learn and grow every day.

In another life, I'm pretty sure I was

someone else 😊

The best piece of advice I've ever been given is

that the most worthwhile things generally come with sacrifice.

If I could invent a holiday, it would definitely involve

lots of travelling and the sea.

What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars?

Be prepared to have lots of fun while doing what you love!

My favourite word in the English language is

thank you.

If I were a superhero, my superpower would be

to become invisible.

Lyndsay Gassert

dancer. I still think that I can dance.

If I could invent a holiday, it would definitely involve

no WiFi.

What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars?

Just do it!

My favourite word in the English language is

please.

If I were a superhero, my superpower would be

to heal all wounds, emotional and physical.

Rebecca Bradley

Data Dynamo
(aka Data Analyst)

What's the most inspiring part of your job?

Working for a boss lady and with colleagues who are passionate about what they do. We take our work seriously but enjoy ourselves while we are at it!

In another life, I'm pretty sure I was a

magpie. I’m drawn to pretty, shiny things but being a wannabe minimalist, I don’t have to have them – just love to marvel.

The best piece of advice I've ever been given is

from my dad who always said that if you can find the joy in the mundane, ordinary, every-day life – you will always be happy.

If I could invent a holiday, it would definitely involve

– exploring new (to me) cities and towns, particularly old buildings and soaking up the history – or cruising (pure relaxation).

What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join our team of superstars?

You better have a sense of humour – we love to laugh a LOT! Also – no room for ego’s – we work together!

My favourite word in the English language is

serendipity. It’s a pretty word, a sweet movie and I believe it – finding TIC was definitely serendipitous for me!

If I were a superhero, my superpower would be

to erase the suffering of little people and animals.
